France ambassador to Lebanon Emmanuel Bon stressed Thursday his country's support to the Lebanese army and other security agencies as well.

Following talks with FM Gebran Bassil, Bon said "We have a promising program to provide the Lebanese army with its needs in order to accomplish its missions on all levels."

"This program will remain as long as good circumstances are prevailing over the country as it was agreed between Saudi, French and Lebanese authorities to implement the entire agreement," Bon added.

Bassil and Bon also tackled the latest developments in Lebanon and the region, whereby the latter stressed his country's support to state institutions.
