One of the fathers of kidnapped servicemen revealed that a Nusra Front Emir had demanded Syrian Maarat and Flita towns to be handed over in exchange for the release of hostages held by the group.
Hussein Yousof, the father of kidnapped officer Mohammad, told Anadolu Agency that “the Nusra front Emir in the Qalamoun, Abou Malek al-Talli, had sent a word to the families visiting their sons in Arsal that he demands the handover of two Syrian towns, Filta and Maarat, in addition to the release of five women from Lebanese prisons, in exchange for their sons’ release.”
“The families have informed the Prime Minister Tammam Salam of the Prince’s new swap conditions during today’s meeting,” Yousof noted.
