A dispute over right of way evolved on Friday into a shooting, injuring a young man in the foot, the state-run National News Agency reported.

In the details, 20-year-old Alaa Samir Omar was riding with friends in a BMW car on Chtaura-Masnaa international highway when they engaged in a brawl with a white Toyota driver.

The driver and another identified man stepped down from the car and started shooting in the direction of Alaa before fleeing to an unknown destination.

Alaa was  sent to Chtaura hospital after sustaining two gunshot wounds to his leg.
