اشار وزير الزراعة غازي زعيتر في تصريح بعد جلسة مجلس الوزراء في قصر بيت الدين، الى انه "عرض على الحكومة موضوع التعويض على مزارعي التفاح، والمبلغ المتبقي 20 هو مليار ليرة، وسيؤمن المبلغ قريبا ويعطى للمزارعين، والامل ان نجد حلولا مناسبة للموسم القادم".
