Lebanese army soldiers, civil defense brigades, and young volunteers in the region of Kobayat managed on Monday to control the unruly fires that have been devastating the forests of Kobayat for two days.
In further details, military helicopters continued early morning over-flights in the region in an attempt to extinguish the fires and prevent new ones.
Citizens in the area have called for a serious investigation to unearth the reason behind this fire to hold those involved accountable.
