Deputy Prime Minister, Caretaker Minister of Health Ghassan Hasbani held a meeting on Thursday at his ministerial office, with a ranking delegation from the World Health Organization in Geneva, representatives of WHO's regional office, and the director of WHO's office in Lebanon. 

The delegation's visit to Beirut comes at the request of the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health and the Association of Pharmaceutical Factories in Lebanon "with a view to conducting a survey on some local pharmaceutical factories and quality control mechanisms by the Ministry of Public Health that have been being adopted globally since 2010. 

The delegation will visit Beirut again in early 2019 to complete the survey of the remaining factories.
