MP Mohammad Raad upped calls Tuesday upon the Lebanese government to invest in the territorial groundwater and oil drillings in order to slash the deficit of the state budget.
"Lebanon is before a vital opportunity to improve the economic situation, especially with the presence of a resistance protecting our resources," Raad said.
The lawmaker made these remarks during the inauguration of an art workshop in the southern town of Rihan, heldi ian honor of late journalist Zainab Awada (aka Rabab Hassan).
