The International Maritime Academy in Lebanon issued on Monday the following statement:

"In light of these crucial events that are taking place in our beloved country, the International Maritime Academy with the precious collaboration of the Civil Defense, established a plan to cover all emergency sea transportation requested by any support unit like the Red Cross and the Lebanese Navy."

The statement added that "all units are on stand-by mode in order to help civilians in need of urgent transportation, in the following stations: Jounieh (main station), Batroun, Beirut, Jieh, Tyr and Abdeh."

Finally, the International Maritime Academy called on citizens to call the number 125 for any emergency.
