Sex tape denouncing Syria's violence

While power countries are busy with the military strike on Syria, actress Alissa Milano had a special idea to highlight the crisis.

Milano is resorting to scandalous ways to draw attention to the crisis in Syria: by "leaking" a purported sex tape on the Internet.

Milano has been vocal on Twitter about the ongoing violence in Syria, encouraging her followers to donate to UNICEF efforts to help Syrian children and stating that she "wants her son to live in a world without war." The actress has served as a UNICEF ambassador since 2003.

The actress tweeted about the video shortly after it was posted online.
"Oh no! I'm not sure how it got out," she tweeted Wednesday. Then "My sex tape was leaked. Not sure what to say. Going to post the link myself to try to control the situation."

The tape, which was "leaked" shows Milano and an unnamed bed partner, both partially undressed, apparently preparing to record a romp in a bed strewn with rose petals.

Then, just as the "action" begins, Milano kicks the camera around to face a TV displaying what looks like a news report about Syria.

As the male anchor begins explaining the history of Syria's sectarian divisions, the Assad family and alleged chemical attacks by the Syrian government, Milano and her partner can be seen, reflected in a mirror in one corner of the frame, frolicking under the covers.

Milano tackled the violence in the Mideast several times mainly in Syria, as he is famed for her humanitarian moves against the war.
