"Qatar will allow a visa-free entry for citizens of 80 countries, including Lebanon", a statement by the Qatari Embassy in Beirut said. 

"As of today, the citizens of those 80 countries wishing to visit Qatar will not have to apply for a visa anymore," according to the statement. 

Lebanese citizens do not require prior visa arrangements and can obtain a visa waiver upon arrival in Qatar. The waiver will be valid for 30 days from the date of issuance, and will allow its holder to stay for up to 30 days in Qatar, be it during a single trip or on multiple trips. The duration of the waiver's validity can be extended for a further 30 days.
