The Casino of Lebanon has made it to the Guinness World Records with the largest Roulette Wheel in the world.

"The implementation of the Roulette project was a major challenge because it is an interactive ceiling Roulette, not a regular table on the floor. Installing it in the lobby and lifting it to the ceiling was the most difficult part," a statement by Casino Du Liban said.

Master Group, a pioneer in this type of engineering design, implemented this project within several weeks.

The ceiling Roulette was manufactured with the same standards as the real Roulette; it was designed on an aluminum structure divided into 37 light boxes, forming a diameter of 8.75 meters, and then assembled and installed in the main lobby of the casino during 18 hours of continuous work -- until it was lifted and hung on the ceiling. 

The ceiling Roulette is characterized by a direct technical interaction. People can play with it via an electronic button that remotely controls it (wireless). It is also electrically linked to a real table Roulette in the lobby of the casino, so the rotation of the original wheel kick starts the ceiling roulette.

Upon the successful implementation of the project, the casino contacted Guinness World Records and the answer was quick.

After a week of technical scrutiny, Guinness World Records approved granting Casino du Liban the certification of the biggest Roulette in the world.

Mr. Talal Omar, the official representative of Guinness World Records, handed the certificate to the Chairman of Casino Du Liban Board of Directors, Mr. Roland El Khoury, in the presence of a large number of media and official figures.

With this outstanding achievement, Casino du Liban has put Lebanon back on the global map, thus attracting tourists and international casinos to witness this creative innovation. 

It should be noted that current betting on this Roulette purely falls under marketing and promotional purposes, as the inclusion of this Roulette among the other casino betting tables requires the approval of the Ministry of Finance, which if approved, will incur financial profits for the casino and the treasury.
