Telecommunications Minister Boutros Harb met Thursday with a delegation from the leading French mobile operator "Orange".

Following his meeting with Harb, Senior Vice President at Orange's Middle East & North Africa Operations Michel Monzani stated that the visit was aimed at boosting the historical ties with the ministry.

"The relationship between Lebanon and Orange has been established through Sodetel since 1968, " said Monzani, adding that Harb informed him of his strategic plan for Lebanon's telecommunications sector.
