أفاد مراسل mtv في واشنطن، بأن وزارة الخارجية الأميركية، بالتعاون مع السفيرة اللبنانية ندى معوض، قرّرت تأمين 40 مليون دولار من وحدة المساعدات الخارجية كمساعدات طارئة للبنان، على أن يتم صرف هذه المساعدات خلال هذا الأسبوع.
