Oil prices rise on US-Iran deal uncertainty, shipping attacks

Oil prices rose on Wednesday as doubts over a potential agreement between the United States and Iran and attacks on two ships heightened concerns about disruptions to Middle East supplies, Reuters reported. 

US West Texas Intermediate crude futures for September delivery traded at $83.92 a barrel, up 0.90% from the previous settlement, as of 09:15 Moscow time.

Brent crude futures for October delivery traded at $89.65 a barrel, up 0.83% from the previous close.
