US ends temporary protection for Syrians, calls on them to leave

The US Department of Homeland Security announced that the decision to terminate Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Syrians has taken effect, and called on beneficiaries lacking legal status to leave the country or face deportation, according to RT.
