Israeli Activity Intensifies, Machine-Gun Fire During Sweeps

Israeli army vehicles were spotted moving in the eastern outskirts of the southern Lebanese town of Khiam in the Marjayoun district, amid heavy machine-gun fire targeting neighborhoods and the outskirts of the town.

The sound of sustained medium and heavy-machine-gun fire could be heard in several nearby towns and villages across the eastern sector.
