Israeli army carry out machine-gun sweeps in Khiam

The southern Lebanese town of Khiam has witnessed heavy and medium machine-gun fire, with Israeli army vehicles moving inside the town.

A house in the Ej Jlahiye area of Khiam was also reportedly blown up, amid continued military movements and machine-gun bursts in several parts of the town.

The developments come as Israeli military operations continue in Khiam and its surrounding areas.
