General Conditions:
Typical hot and humid summer weather prevails over Lebanon and the Eastern Mediterranean Basin with temperatures within their seasonal averages, until Saturday when the region will be affected by a moderately active low-pressure system centered northwest of Turkey, which is gradually approaching and pushing moderate air masses that will cause a drop in temperatures falling below their seasonal averages, accompanied by scattered rainfall that may occasionally be heavy starting from the afternoon, along with lightning and thunder especially in the northern regions, continuing until Sunday evening when weather will gradually stabilize.
Average temperatures for the month of August: Tripoli between 24 and 32°C, Beirut between 25 and 33°C, Zahle between 18 and 35°C.
