Netherlands “Deeply Regrets” Israel’s decision

Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Berendsen said on Monday that the Netherlands "deeply regrets" Israel’s decision to revoke the accreditation of its diplomats working in the West Bank, describing the move as "unnecessary," according to Agence France-Presse.
A spokesperson for Berendsen quoted him as saying that The Hague’s decision to suspend imports of goods from Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank was not directed against Israel.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar announced on Sunday that the Dutch diplomats’ accreditation would be withdrawn within seven days, citing the Netherlands’ decision on settlement goods.
