Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Jordan Condemn Israeli Provocations At Al-Aqsa Mosque

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the continued “provocative practices” of Israeli officials and settlers at Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem.
In a statement, the ministry denounced the latest assault on the site’s sanctity, as well as its religious and historical status.
The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry also issued a statement condemning the “incursions” at the compound, calling them a “flagrant violation” of international law and international humanitarian law.
“A rejected escalation, an unacceptable provocation and a blatant breach of the prevailing historical and legal status quo at the Blessed Haram al-Sharif,” said the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in its statement.
As we’ve been reporting, hundreds of Israelis stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound under police protection earlier today. On the third day of the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, the Jerusalem governorate said Israeli forces closed intersections and streets surrounding the Old City that lead to the site, which Jews refer to as the Temple Mount.
