Beirut Robberies: Two Suspects Arrested, One Wanted On 14 Warrants

The Internal Security Forces’ Directorate General – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the Internal Security Forces’ ongoing efforts to combat various types of crime, the Information Branch received intelligence about two individuals carrying out robberies in various areas and neighborhoods of Beirut.
Following the report, the branch’s specialized units launched efforts to identify and arrest them.
As a result of extensive investigations and inquiries, the branch identified the two suspects as:
H.H. (born in 1984, Lebanese)
F.S. (born in 1992, Lebanese), who is wanted by the judiciary under 14 arrest warrants for offenses including theft, pickpocketing, forming a criminal gang, drug-related offenses, unlawful detention and assault.
Through close monitoring and surveillance, an Information Branch patrol spotted the two men in the Corniche El Mazraa area riding a black motorcycle without a license plate. The patrol ambushed and arrested them, seizing the motorcycle and two pistols.
During questioning, the two men admitted to the offenses attributed to them. They were handed over, along with the seized items, to the relevant unit for the necessary legal action.
