Issa El Khoury Opens 27th Project Lebanon Exhibition

Industry Minister Joe Issa El Khoury, representing Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, inaugurated the 27th edition of Project Lebanon, organized by International Fairs and Promotions (IFP), in the presence of officials, economic and industrial figures, and more than 200 exhibitors.
Issa El Khoury said the exhibition comes at a pivotal moment for Lebanon, with reconstruction now a national priority as towns and villages seek to rebuild infrastructure ranging from electricity, water and telecommunications networks to solar energy and other vital sectors.
He said the participation of more than 200 exhibitors sends a message that Lebanon is ready to generate opportunities and attract investment, while international partners are prepared to contribute to reconstruction and development.
The minister stressed that reconstruction should create opportunities for Lebanese industry rather than place additional pressure on the trade balance.
He added that every locally manufactured product sold in Lebanon helps create jobs and supports young people in remaining and working in the country.
Issa El Khoury also congratulated IFP and its Chairman and General Manager Albert Aoun on organizing the exhibition’s 27th edition.
