The suspected assailant in the attempted assassination of former US President Donald Trump posted a video before carrying out the shooting at the campaign rally, stating, "My name is Thomas Matthew Crooks... I hate Republicans and I hate Trump."
Crooks, who is 20 years old, appears to have been shot in the head during the gunfire incident.
