Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri on Monday received First Vice Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon, Wassim Mansouri, at the Second Presidency headquarters in Ain al-Tineh.
The discussions focused on the general situation, particularly financial and monetary developments.
Speaker Berri also received the Director General of the Litani River National Authority, Sami Alawieh, and members of its board of directors.

Alawieh stressed that the Authority continues to provide irrigation and hydroelectric power services to all beneficiary areas despite the difficult circumstances and current challenges.
Separately, Berri received former Minister Ghazi Aridi, with whom he discussed the general situation and recent political and field developments in light of Israel’s continued attacks on southern Lebanese villages and towns.
