“On Mother’s Day, I greet all the mothers of Lebanon. They are life, the first nurses, the source of strength and doctors for the life of any child," Information Minister Manal Abdel Samad Najd said on Saturday via her Twitter account.

She added: "Because health is not a joke, stay at home for your mother and for everyone's sake.”
