Information Minister Manal Abdel Samad met Friday at her office in the Ministry with a delegation including World Health Organization’s Representative to Lebanon, Dr. Iman Shankiti,  and UNICEF Representative in Lebanon, Yukie Mokuo, accompanied by UNICEF Communication Officer.

Means of cooperation in media campaigns in the fight against the novel coronavirus were discussed.

The delegation also offered its assistance in developing a mechanism for verifying false news and briefed the Minister on the missions of the two organizations, praising the work of the Ministry and its efforts in countering the pandemic threatening most countries.
