Lebanese Ambassador to Turkey, Ghassan Ahmed Al-Moallem, succeeded in finding a solution to the Lebanese drivers stranded at the Iraqi-Turkish border, following a phone call between Lebanese Foreign Minister Nassif Hitti and his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, that contributed to strengthening these efforts and speeding up their pace.

"The stranded Lebanese drivers at the Iraqi-Turkish border are now on their way from the border to the Tachogo port in Mersin, then will take the ferry directly to the port of Tripoli in Lebanon this evening, where they are expected to arrive on Saturday," Ambassador Moallem told the National News Agency.
