Hariri's media advisor, Hussein Al-Wajh tweeted the following: "The Lebanese no longer understand the reasons behind the President’s evasion and his reluctance to fulfill his constitutional duty to facilitate the formation of the government and sign the formation decrees in agreement with the PM-designate. In view of this, the Lebanese are raising serious questions about whether the President of the Republic really wants to form a government or if he is 'holding the formation in his pocket,' the same way they held the presidential elections for two and a half years."

Al-Wajh’s tweet comes in response to the following statement issued by Strong Lebanon bloc: “The Lebanese no longer understand the reasons behind the impotence of the Prime Minister-designate and his reluctance to fulfill his constitutional duty to form the government in agreement with the President of the Republic. If the Prime Minister-designate really wants to form a government, or he's 'holding the formation in his pocket' until God gives him something that is effective."
