Sheikh Akl of the Druze Community, Naïm Hassan, criticized on Saturday procrastination and destruction of Tripoli, calling for a comprehensive national and cross-sectarian movement to prevent the deterioration of the state, within the framework of the Constitution and the law.

In a statement, he expressed his grief over the recent events that took place in Tripoli at a critical moment in the country's history, saying that "those in power are steeped in the core in search of personal gain from the ashes of the country."
