The meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council began with all its members, and a statement is likely to be issued clarifying the Council’s position on the actions of Judge Ghada Aoun, with insistence on taking disciplinary measures against her.

The meeting coincides with the arrival of a number of demonstrators in front of the Justice Palace in support of the position of the Public Prosecutor of the Court of Cassation.
