The Army Command - Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:

"On 27/4/2021, army units deployed in Bekaa and the North arrested six citizens and three Syrians, and seized 4 pickup trucks and vans loaded with about 11,000 liters of gasoline and 6,000 liters of diesel intended for smuggling into Syrian territory.

The seized materials were handed over and the investigation has started with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary."
