The General Directorate of Civil Aviation issued the following statement: "In compliance with the decisions and recommendations related to limiting the spread of COVID-19, it is strictly forbidden for persons receiving arriving passengers to enter the arrival hall at Rafic Hariri International Airport - Beirut, and departing passengers are not allowed to receive farewells inside the departure hall, and entry to both halls is limited to arriving and departing passengers, official agencies and employees of companies operating at the airport. This measure will be implemented as of Monday, 28 June, 2021."
