Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun on Thursday welcomed in Yarzeh Australian Ambassador to Lebanon Rebekah Grindlay who paid him a farewell visit upon winding up her diplomatic mission in Lebanon. 

The Australian diplomat visited General Aoun in the company of Colonel Douglas Griffiths, the new Defense Attaché of Australia in Lebanon.

The Army Commander separately had an audience with former Minister Wiam Wahhab, with whom he discussed the country’s general situation.
