At 7:00 am Beirut local time on Friday, the polling process for the Lebanese residing abroad started today in several Arab countries and Iran as follows:
- Saudi Arabia, where the total number of registered voters is 13,105 distributed over 30 ballot rooms in Riyadh at the Lebanese Embassy Center, and in Jeddah at the Consulate General Center.
- Qatar, where the number of voters is 7,344 distributed over 17 ballot rooms at the Lebanese School in Qatar.
- Kuwait, where the total number of voters is 5,760 distributed over 14 ballot rooms in one polling station at the Lebanese Embassy.
- Syria, where the number of voters is 1,018 distributed over 3 ballot rooms in one polling station at the Lebanese Embassy.
- Bahrain, where the total number of voters is 638 distributed over 2 ballot rooms in one polling station at the Lebanese Embassy in Manama.
- Jordan, where the total number of voters is 483 distributed over 2 ballot rooms at the Lebanese Embassy.
- Iraq, where the total number of voters is 327 distributed over 2 ballot rooms at both the Lebanese Embassy in Baghdad and Rotana Hotel.
- Iran, where the total number of voters is 642.
It is to note that polling stations in Egypt opened at 8:00 am Beirut time, and the total number of voters is 709 distributed over 2 ballot rooms in 2 polling stations at the Lebanese Embassy in Cairo and the Lebanese Consulate in Alexandria.
