The media office of Prime Minister Najib Mikati issued a statement on Sunday in which it referred to a programmed campaign targeting PM Mikati and his family, through the spreading of rumors and lies regarding the customs dollar issue and the new cabinet formation.

The statement indicated that PM Mikati and his family have assigned a law firm to take the necessary legal measures against the instigators and those involved in this campaign.
