Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, on Thursday met at his Yarzeh office with the Medical Advisor for the Italian Joint Operations Command, Major General Antonio Battisini.

Discussions reportedly touched on cooperation relations between the armies of both countries.

Major General Aoun later met with the Director of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Lebanon, Melanie Hauenstein, over an array of various matters.
