Greek-Orthodox Metropolitan of Beirut, Archbishop Elias Audi, on Friday welcomed US Ambassador to Lebanon Dorothy Shea, with whom he discussed the general situation. 

Audi later received Caretaker Minister of the Interior Bassam Mawlawi, who said in the wake of the visit that "Bishop Audi has expressed his concerns about the country’s general situation, failure to elect a president, delay in the Beirut Port blast investigations, as well as the security situation and the Syrian crisis.”
