The chairman of the Lybian General National Congress Mohammad Magariaf survived an alleged assasination attempt that targeted the hotel he was staying in last Thursday, as stated by Magariaf spokesperson.
"The hotel was attacked for over 3 hours by sniper fire, in what seems to be an assasination attempt", the spokesperson told France Press. The mouthpiece expressed his regret for not arresting any of the attackers.
