Hezbollah would never remain silent as per attempts aimed at the party's golden tripartite project of Hezbollah, Army and People senior cleric Nabil Qaouq stated at a one week memoriam for a slain militia member at the Husayniyya mosque of Shehabiyya in South Lebanon today.

We shall strike back at the so-called Free Syrian Army (FSA) bent on aggressing our party and the Lebanese military, Qaouq exclaimed. The FSA plays a US-Israeli game and thus craves confrontation with our party, he added. He accused the Hariri Bloc of covering up for those criminals who murdered army soldiers, rocketed Beqaa villages and desecrated Shia tombs. The cleric justified party partaking in the parliament mandate extension saying it is the lesser of evils.
