Tufaili to Hezbollah: Your presence in Syria has nothing to do with preserving Lebanon's security

Hezbollah's former Secretary General, Sobhi Al Tufaili, lashed out at the Shiite party's engagement in Syria, saying that it is not allowed that anyone gets dragged "like a cattle" and therefore "it is inadmissible to follow a ruler who orders me to take a wrong path".

Tufaili noted that Hezbollah was first keen on not getting dragged into in the Syrian quagmire, but "Iran's commands necessitated the fighting".

"Your presence in Syria has nothing to do with preserving Lebanon's security, nor with safeguarding the Sayyeda Zeinab shrine", Tufaili said addressing Hezbollah.

"Killing Muslims does not reflect obedience for Wali Al Faqih", he added.
