Lebanese Kataeb MP Samy Gemayel met Tuesday in Bikfaya with the Secretary General of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, Noureddine Bouchkouj, as the pair discussed latest developments in Lebanon and the broader Arab region.

"The meeting was an occasion to discuss the AIPU's activities, especially that MP Gemayel said he was ready to cooperate with the Union and support its activities in the service of freedom and democracy in Lebanon and the Arab world," Bouchkouj told press reporters following the meeting.
