Karami: hemorrhage in Tripoli must stop
Hemorrhage in Tripoli must stop immediately, caretaker Minister Faysal Karami vowed to keep emergency meetings at Mikati's residence open till peace in the city is achieved.

Having expressed satisfaction with army plan to bring about peace to war-torn Tripoli, local politicians and deputies reportedly discussed compensations dispensated by the Supreme Relief Commission to the most gravely affected by continued rounds of fighting between Bab Tabbaneh and Jabal Muhsen. They also noted favourable public response to army security plan and that the Interior minister has been notified to this effect.

Quoting army officer Amer al-Hasan's stern warning to the gunmen that they would draw response from his troops Karami added that soldiers would not hesitate to arrest trouble-makers.
Despite an array of social and economic issues craving to be addressed, the army took up positions in translation of people's deep wish to live in peace, Karami concluded.
