Al Mustaqbal parliamentary bloc member, MP Jamal Jarrah said that disrupting the meetings of the Constitutional Council is an extension of the paralysis that is plaguing the state's institutions and judicial bodies.
Jarrah stressed the need for the Constitutional Council to meet and take the appropriate decision on the submitted challenges, especially amid the ongoing difficult security conditions and for the higher interests of the country in the absence of a government.
"The repercussions of Hezbollah's interference in Syria exceeded the local level to the reach the Arab world, especially after the position of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the arrest of four members of the party in Africa," the lawmaker said
"Hezbollah has declared war on all the Lebanese and threatened their lives abroad after having dashed Lebanon's stability for the best interest of Iran," he added.
