Fierce political stances were stated by Hizbullah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah regarding both Lebanese and Syrian situations.
In a speech marking "Wounded Resistance Fighter Day", he kicked off his words tackling the Constitutional Council crisis.
Security situation in Baalbek-Hermel and other ambulant incidents were the main subjects in his speech. Nasrallah highlighted the phenomenon of opening fire in the air for any given occasion, "we noticed that people are being frightened, some are even getting killed as a result or wounded and houses are going up in flames. So we consulted our clerics and they decided that if there are fatalities or if properties are damaged their reply was that "these acts are definitely impermissible in Islam." The fatwa is stricter if the weapons are our weapons and the party does not allow the use of its ammunition in such a manner and gunmen should be held financially responsible as well.”
Regarding the incidents in Beqaa, Nasrallah considered that, "The situation in Hermel is delicate and needs a special care." "In Baalbek, rumors are circulating that say that the rockets fired on the area are launched from Aarsal, a Sunni town in the middle of a Shiite region," he added. “The rockets that hit Baalbek and Hermel and Nabi Sheet did not originate from Aarsal but were fired by armed groups from Syria, we will find a solution for this problem in God's will," Hizbullah chief clarified.
"Some media outlets are spreading lies, they are working on creating problems between Sunnis and Shiites in the Beqaa. Therefore, I urge to exert more efforts to put an end to these attempts to create strife in these regions." he concluded.
The biggest part in his speech went for the party’s decision on the military intervention in Syria as well as its repercussions on Syria and Lebanon.
"We are the last to interfere in Syria, way after the Future Movement interfered there and other Lebanese organizations that I don't want to name," he voiced. "If today we interfered on the side of the Syrian rebels, wouldn't they praise us as heroes?" Nasrallah wondered.
"So it is not about intervention or not, it is about a plan for bringing down the regime, those who want to bring down Syria, want to bring down Lebanon and the rest of the region and put it under the control of the Israeli-American-Takfiri powers." Hizbullah chief declared.
Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah called the Lebanese people to be more patient because the war is still ongoing. Being on the terror list or harassing the Lebanese in Gulf countries are “tiny sacrifices in comparison with the resistant endeavor and the battles we are fighting till the last drop of blood,” according to Nasrallah.
