حاول مسلحون خطف المواطن مفيد الحجيري اثناء مروره على طريق عام الهرمل. ولدى مطاردته واطلاق النار باتجاه سيارته فقد السيطرة عليها لتصطدم بعمود الكهرباء على جانب الطريق، ما ادى الى اصابته بجروح وفرار الاشخاص الذين كانوا يلاحقونه.
