Caretaker Interior Minister Marwan Charbel noted that the Daraya incident allowed the incovering of a terrorist cell that was plotting attacks in several Lebanese region.

"Nowadays, Lebanon is serendipitiously steered clear of threats. If the fabricated bomb hadn't exploded accidentally, things would have turned sour," Charbel said in remarks published by Assafire newspaper.
