Iranian President Hassan Rowhani's Twitter account exchanged tweets with the website's chairman, Jack Dorsey.

Dorsey tweeted the account on Tuesday, asking: "Are citizens of Iran able to read your tweets?"

"My efforts geared to ensure my people will comfortably be able to access all info globally as is their right," the reply said.

Dorsey replied: "Please let us know how we can help to make it a reality."
