أعلن مصدر عسكري عن "إغلاق ميدان التحرير ومحيط قصر الاتحادية وسط القاهرة، أمام حركة السيارات حتى صباح الاثنين المقبل"، موضحا أن "قرار الإغلاق جاء بمناسبة الاحتفالات المقررة إقامتها في الميادين في ذكرى "انتصارات السادس من تشرين الاول" عام 1973".
