Speaker Nabih Berri deplored the DNA tests results which indicated that one of the suicide bombers, Mouin Abu Dahr, who perpetrated the deadly attack against the Iranian embassy hailed from southern Lebanon.

In remarks published in Annahar newspaper, officials quoted Berri as saying that he had hoped the two assailants would not be Lebanese so as to avoid further schism between local rival factions.
