Al-Jazeera requests state-sponsored TV's frequencies

Annahar newspaper learned that Qatar’s state owned BeIN, the new name for Al-Jazeera’s sports channel, has requested the parameters of frequency on which Lebanon's state-run television, Tele Liban, broadcasts its programs.


No further details were disclosed.


It's worth noting that the Qatari channel has distribution rights to the 2014 World Cup.
